Barsha Poricha is Programme Director at The National Foundation for India, where she is involved in working towards NFIs mission of creating a just society by helping people improve their own lives. Her work in the last decade and a half has been towards facilitating, strengthening and institutionalizing community and development processes to enable participatory and inclusive governance. Her core areas of interest and work are governance, youth and gender with a focus on urban and peri urban settlements. She is an Urban and Regional planner from CEPT, Ahmedabad with a Masters Degree from Delhi School of Economics, currently pursuing a PhD from Ambedkar University, Delhi on urban water systems.
